Domain security is not required but an option you can turn on/off for your account, with the exception of dynamic TTS (sayText and sayAIResponse function calls) - where domain security is always on for your protection.

So - if you are not using dynamic TTS, turn OFF 'secure playback' for your account (default state is OFF). This attribute is set in your 'Account Info' page.

If you do use dynamic TTS - add 'localhost' or 127.0.0.1 to the list of domains and you should be fine.

Hope this helps,

We fixed the backlog problem last week. Videos are now generated within a couple of minutes even at times of load.

We've noticed however that the problem you reported has a different cause. Yours is a Studio account, and the issue you encountered is unique to Studio accounts. We are now in the process of verifying the solution & I expect to have it deployed later today.

Thanks for your patience - will advise asap.

Yes you can add the link to the AIML, and display it as part of the response for the user to see - here's a simple example -

Let me know if you encounter a problem.

We'd love to experiment with you!
I'll look into what (if anything) we can do on this front given our other priorities - and get back to you.

We've identified the problem. The Video generation process is at the moment backlogged and takes much longer than it should (hours)

We are working on a solution. Will advise.
Thanx

The video used for playback on iPad can take a few minutes to be generated.
So if you made a change to your Scene (i.e. updated audio) - you might still be hearing the old audio on the ipad.
Normally the lag time is about 2 minutes, but it can be longer at times.

I see the difference - I'm sure it will resolve itself shortly -
but I'm looking into why it is taking longer than it should.

I see what you're getting at

You could implement close captioning with pre-recorded audio - but you would have to maintain the text for each audio yourself, as there is no way to enter text for a pre-recorded audio (and then extract it).

Cool feature though.
